| I'd like to preface Michael Hanna's critical review of my work with a personal reflection. The artist's journey is often a solitary one that unfolds in the solitude of a studio. Even amidst a vibrant community of artists, collectors, and admirers, there's an inherent sense of isolation. It's a paradox, a paradox of connection and detachment creating in the silence. It's in this solitude that the true magic happens. It's where we grapple with our deepest fears, past trauma, hopes, and everything in between. It's where we find solace, where we find strength, and where we find our voice. But it's also a place of vulnerability, a place where we expose our raw unfiltered thoughts, and our unfinished dreams. In the midst of this complex landscape, a single review can sometimes hit a particularly vulnerable place. When such a review comes along, it's like a beacon of light in the darkness. It's a recognition of the solitary struggle, the countless hours spent alone, the sacrifices made, and the risks taken. It's a validation of the unique vision, a testament to the power of creativity, and a reminder that the journey, though often solitary, is not without understanding. I'm thrilled to announce that my work has been selected for Best in Show at the Aedra Fine Arts, Fortune Favors Exhibition. A hardcover catalogue of this exhibition will be published later this year. My husband and I hit a big milestone this week: 25 years together. Naturally, we celebrated in NYC. No matter how many times I visit, the city always fuels me, the art, the movement, the people, even the sensory overload (5th Ave, I’m looking at you 😂). It’s the kind of place that reminds me why I chose this artist life.
I have a multitude of projects currently underway, making it difficult to decide which one to share first and which to hold off on. Today, however, one particular project took the spotlight.PUBLIC ART PROJECT: I am thrilled to share that the painting, “Pockets Filled with Hope”, 5ft x 10ft, was picked up this morning and is on the way to the Southern Connecticut State University School of Business. This piece is a part of the CT 1% public art project. A big thank you to @tamaradimitri and @CTofficeofthearts for selecting this artwork for the installation. Thank you to @frameshopct for working with me to get this piece ready for pickup. Of course, a big thank you to the team of movers to get this piece safely into the truck. I am truly grateful for the community I have created here on the East Coast.

I’ve been busy painting and soaking up the vitamin D lately. It won’t be long before the skies turn gray and I need to start wearing wool hats indoors. But before that happens, I’m excited to share that my work will be heading to the Affordable Art Fair Stockholm this October with +GALLERyLABS. 110 galleries, the city of Scottsdale is getting ready to host a unique evening in the heart of the American Southwest.
The Seattle Art Fair is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing the Pacific Northwest's vibrant art scene, and it's a leading destination for modern and contemporary art. It's happening this year at the Lumen Field Event Center, from July 25th to 28th.

What an amazing event last week. The juror for the Greenwich Art Society, 106th Annual Open Exhibition was Guggenheim Curator, David Max Horowitz. I was so inspired to hear him talk so passionately about art in all its forms. I’m beyond flattered that my work was chosen for this prestigious show. The painting shown ,”Arctic Lands” 36” x 36”, acrylic on canvas is a reflection of my deep concern about the state of our planet. The polar regions are experiencing some of the most drastic changes, and it is both awe-inspiring and deeply saddening to see.
I wanted to create a piece that would capture the beauty of nature while bringing attention to the devastating effects of climate change.
