ABOUT ART COMMISSIONS

Commission an Artwork as Unique as You

Bring your vision to life with a one-of-a-kind, custom painting by Shilo Ratner. Each commissioned artwork is tailor made for your collection  designed to reflect your style, space, and story through color, geometry, and emotion.

💬 Common Questions

What subjects do you paint?

I’m often commissioned to create abstracted landscapes, pure abstractions, and architectural abstractions. Each piece is crafted to align with your desired color palette and aesthetic goals.

How long will it take to finish my painting?

Once the digital rendering is approved, most projects take approximately 5–6 weeks to complete.

Can I send a photograph for inspiration?

Absolutely! Your photos can serve as inspiration for your project. Please note that each commissioned painting is an original interpretation, not a direct replica.

🖌️ How the Commission Process Works

  1. Reach Out:
Email me at shiloratner@gmail.com and share what you have in mind — subject (geometric abstract, landscape, architectural form, ocean, etc.), colors, and desired size.
  2. Estimate & Timeline:
After reviewing your request, I’ll provide a project estimate and discuss the timeline for digital sketches.
  3. Deposit & Agreement:
A 50% deposit and a signed commission contract are required before work begins.
  4. Progress Updates:
You’ll receive access to a private project webpage with weekly progress photos  keeping you connected and excited as your piece evolves.
  5. Completion & Delivery:
Once the artwork is finished and the remaining balance is received, your painting will be carefully packaged and shipped via FedEx or DHL.

💰 How Much Does a Commission Cost?

Each project varies depending on size, complexity, and materials. For example, a 10’ x 5’ painting will be priced higher than a 40” x 40” piece. After reviewing your project scope, I’ll send a personalized cost estimate.
