Power of Value: Monochromatic Abstraction

Setting color aside entirely, this workshop goes deep into black, white, and gray. Explore composition, movement, depth, and mood, all built through value alone. It is an ideal way to sharpen your eye and complete one finished abstract painting by the end of the day.
Power of Value: Color Abstraction
Saturday, December 5 · 10am–3:30pm
This color companion begins with the same foundation in value, then brings in a full, vibrant palette. Explore how color and value work together to create depth, mood, and structure while building toward one finished piece.
Private one-on-one Zoom lessons
Two private lesson spots are now open. These sessions offer a chance to slow down and work on exactly what excites you, or where you feel stuck.
Private lessons can focus on getting unstuck on a painting that has been sitting on your easel, building a body of work for a show or portfolio, digging deeper into value, color, or composition at your own pace, or creating a regular creative check-in and accountability practice.
$75 per hour. Pricing may adjust slightly depending on what you would like to work on. Book a package of three sessions and receive 10% off.
