A quiet intention for the world we want to live in.
BE is an original mixed media painting by Shilo Ratner, created with acrylic paint, spray paint, pencil, and handwritten text on wood panel. A reflection of the world the artist wants to live in, this work responds to the pain we read about and feel every day with an intention for shared well-being. Beneath its layered surface lies an ancient Sanskrit mantra for peace. Look closely and its words begin to emerge:
May there be well-being for all.
May there be peace for all.
May there be wholeness for all.
May there be happiness for all.
Conceived for a contemporary interior, BE brings that intention into the home, allowing its presence to live quietly alongside everyday life. It is a meaningful work for a collector drawn to art that offers both contemplation and a sense of connection.
