WinterLude Group Exhibition at Bryant Street Gallery, Palo Alto

WinterLude group exhibition at Bryant Street Gallery Palo Alto featuring Shilo Ratner geometric abstract paintings

My geometric abstract paintings were featured in the WinterLude group exhibition at Bryant Street Gallery in Palo Alto, California.

I'm excited to share that my geometric abstract paintings were featured in WinterLude, a curated group exhibition at Bryant Street Gallery in Palo Alto, California. This exhibition brought together five contemporary artists exploring diverse approaches to color, form, and abstraction.

About WinterLude Exhibition

The WinterLude group show at Bryant Street Gallery showcased contemporary paintings and mixed media works that capture the essence of winter through abstract and representational approaches. The exhibition featured a carefully curated selection of works that explore themes of light, color, and seasonal transformation.

As a California art gallery known for representing emerging and established contemporary artists, Bryant Street Gallery provided the perfect setting for this winter-themed exhibition.

Featured Artists

The WinterLude exhibition included work by five talented contemporary artists:

Ryan Cobourn
Shilo Ratner (geometric abstract paintings)
Kerstin Heymann
Susan English
Carla Roth

Each artist brought a unique perspective to the exhibition, creating a dynamic dialogue between different styles, techniques, and artistic voices.

My Work in the Exhibition

For WinterLude, I presented a selection of my geometric landscape paintings that explore the interplay of cool color palettes, architectural forms, and natural landscapes. These works reflect my ongoing interest in how geometric abstraction can evoke the quiet, contemplative qualities of winter.

The abstract paintings featured in the show use layered geometric forms and muted tones to create compositions that feel both structured and organic, capturing the stillness and clarity that winter brings.

It's a gallery I've had a meaningful relationship with over the years, including a solo exhibition, Hidden Depth, which gave me the opportunity to show a full body of geometric abstract work in that space.

Why Group Exhibitions Matter

Group exhibitions offer artists the opportunity to showcase their work alongside other talented creators, fostering dialogue and comparison between different artistic approaches. For collectors, group shows provide a chance to discover multiple artists in one visit and to see how different styles and perspectives complement each other.

Being part of WinterLude at Bryant Street Gallery was an honor, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my geometric abstract art with the Palo Alto and Bay Area art community.
